A Fun Popcorn Bar
Chris Nease, party stylist from Celebrations at Home knows how to throw an Oscars Bash. Her popcorn bar is the perfect way for all ages to celebrate at a viewing party. For her celebration, she put out multiple flavors of popcorn (chunky coco mix and butter toffee to name just two) on a decorated table alongside personal popcorn holders and movie props. If it's an all-ages audience, she suggests putting out another table for "grown up" refreshments.
A Great Girls-Night-In
Kelly Gellner, food and lifestyle blogger from Eat Yourself Skinny has developed the perfect recipe for an Oscars viewing party fit for a group of girlfriends. Kelly teamed up with Skinnygirl Cocktails to throw a glam party for all her ladies, complete with "skinny" cocktails, munchies, sweet treats and, of course, a photo booth. Her luxe details and decor really amped up the party space, including a gold backdrop and handmade paper tassels. The menu was extensive and the ladies were able to talk "all things fashion and Bradley Cooper." Sounds like a fête to remember.
A Roaring 20s' Themed Oscars Party
Candice over at Pocket Full of Parties threw a unique Oscars party featuring an Old Hollywood '20s theme. Her evening consisted of lots of black and gold, feathers and pearls. Her dessert table was a full spread, including cookies, cupcakes, macaroons, movie star bars, Oscar chocolates, and chocolate diamonds. The bar served Champagne with St. Germaine, single-serve Champagne bottles in mini ice buckets, as well as the signature cocktail, appropriately titled, "The Oscar." Aside from all the sweets and cute decor, she put out an extensive appetizer bar with lots of snacks, and the coffee table was decked out with ever changing hot appetizers to enjoy during the show. No detail was overlooked!
A Tuxedo Black and Gold Oscars Party
Emily Miller, blogger at B. Lovely Events, threw a very luxurious Black and Gold Oscars Party that literally glittered. Some of her favorite details from the party included giant balloons with gold calligraphy writing, tuxedo- and glittery dress-inspired caramel apples, gold M&Ms, chocolate drizzle popcorn, and gold star-rimmed milkshake shots. In addition to the beautiful decor and sweet treats, Emily asked guests fill out printable ballots to guess the winners!
