'Whoa' , You Need to See Regina King's Massive Diamond Rings From the Golden Globes

So, the Golden Globes are (mostly) virtual this year, and considering it's hard enough to get a good look at accessories on a normal red carpet, getting those close up at all the glamorous diamond pieces over Zoom and Instagram can feel somewhat impossible.

Thankfully, we won't have to wonder what exactly Regina King is wearing when it comes to earrings and rings. Forevermark, along with her stylists Wayman and Micah, gave InStyle all the details on the Best Director nominee's jewels — which are said to total $2,000,000! — including why they were drawn to these exact pieces. We also got the chance to take them in unpixelated, thanks to a few fabulous photos.

While King's silver Louis Vuitton gown is no doubt a work of art, made with 3,000 sequins (!!!), you definitely don't want to miss her little extras. Ahead, Wayman and Micah tell us about the message behind her earrings, and how they balanced out red carpet glamour while keeping sustainability in mind.

Why did you choose these specific diamond pieces for Regina's Golden Globes look?

"We felt these particular diamonds exuded the strength and modern elegance Regina's gown displays. This look was all about interesting lines and shapes, so we chose Forevermark styles that followed suit. The earrings have strong graphic lines and by doubling them up, they create something really unexpected. We layered in rings, playing on the different stone shapes — and really, when the light hits a natural diamond of that size, it's pretty incredible."

How has styling for this event been different from past award shows?
