Drake's Dad Had the Best Time Out of Everyone at the Billboard Music Awards
Before the night even began, we knew that the 2017 Billboard Music Awards belonged to Drake. He won a slew of trophies before the ceremony even started and broke Adele's record for most wins in a night, with 13 categories won. He also got some major promotion for his new whiskey, Virginia Black.
But there's absolutely no doubt that the biggest winner of the evening was the rapper's dad, Dennis Graham. Yes, he is forever memorialized on Drake's More Life album cover, so it's only fitting that he bring him along for the night's festivities.

Drake shouted out his dad in one of his acceptance speeches. "My dad has on a purple suit with purple shoes," he yelled out from the stage. "Boy, if you don't stop!" It's quite clear where he gets his loud style from now, isn't it?
To accept the final award of the night—Top Artist—the "Controlla" crooner brought his dad with him onstage to flaunt all of his purple glory.
Drake has often rapped about the strained relationship he had with his father in the past, which is why it's quite touching to see that their relationship is repaired and moving forward with positivity.
The father-son duo even spent time backstage with one of biggest acts of the night: fellow Canadian Celine Dion.
We're honestly thinking of inviting Mr. Graham to our next party. He obviously knows how to have a good time.
