Having scored a Golden Globe just days earlier, Drew Barrymore was among the big winners at the awards show. After being named best actress in a TV movie for her performance in Grey Gardens, Barrymore (in Monique Lhuillier) got a congratulatory hug from Nine's Penelope Cruz (in L'Wren Scott).

"Julia Roberts went up to [writer] Ryan Murphy and told him she wanted to be on the show!" said Glee star Lea Michele (in a Malandrino dress and diamonds from Tiffany & Co.), who showed off the Actor statuette for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series that she shared with her co-stars. Michele posed with fellow winner Tina Fey (in Ferragamo), who was singled out as best actress in a comedy series.

Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep played it cool in a vibrant Balenciaga dress, which she accessorized with Fred Leighton jewelry and a pair of shades. Though the acting legend didn't win the award for which she was nominated, she was still one of the most celebrated attendees, causing young stars like Anna Kendrick and Chyna Layne to gush about getting to meet her.

Justin Timberlake & Matthew Morrison

Justin Timberlake (in Dolce & Gabbana) stopped to share his love for Glee with Matthew Morrison before the show began. Once inside Timberlake was in a mingling mood, making the rounds to chat with Matt Damon and Sofia Vergara.

Sandra Bullock

Sandra Bullock accepted her Actor trophy in a dramatic Alexander McQueen dress. "It's all smoke and mirrors, people," Bullock laughed when asked how she got gorgeous for the big night.

Gabourey Sidibe and Mo'Nique

Precious stars Gabourey Sidibe (in a Pamella Roland gown and Martin Katz jewelry) and Mo'Nique (in Badgley Mischka) took to the SAG stage to serve as presenters during the show. Mo'Nique was later named best supporting actress for her role as an abusive mother in the powerful drama.

Anna Kendrick and Vera Farmiga

She posed with her Up In the Air co-star Vera Farmiga (in J. Mendel), but Anna Kendrick also revealed that she has a history with Adam Lambert. "We are old friends," Kendrick (in Alberta Ferretti) explained when asked why she was spotted holding hands with the American Idol runner up on the red carpet. "Last time I saw him, he told me he was going to audition for Idol and I told him I was going to do a movie with George Clooney. When we saw each other tonight we couldn't believe we went from unemployed to being at an awards show together!"

"Glee is like the bubonic plague. We are everywhere," said Jane Lynch, who posed with Naya Rivera and Heather Morris before the gifted cast was named outstanding ensemble in a comedy series. "I think it has to do with the music."

Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson

"This is Jason Wu, he designed it for me," said Diane Kruger, who gave her best over the shoulder pose to show off her custom made gown (and stunning Harry Winston earrings) on the red carpet as boyfriend Joshua Jackson signaled his approval of her winning style. Kruger and the cast of Inglourious Basterds did some SAG celebrating when they were awarded the prize for outstanding cast in a motion picture.

Glee's Dianna Agron had another memorable awards season style moment, going glam in a white Edition by Georges Chakra draped gown with silver stone embellishments.

The New Adventures of Old Christine star and Outstanding Comedic Actress nominee Julia Louis-Dreyfus struck a pose in a sexy, sheer Dolce amp Gabbana gown. The key to holding it together in such a form-fitting dress? "You got to have Spanx!" Louis-Dreyfus exclaimed.

A little competition couldn't keep fellow Outstanding TV Actress nominees Julianna Margulies (in Narciso Rodriguez) and Kyra Sedgwick (in Vera Wang) from expressing their admiration for each other. Margulies took home the award for her role as political spouse-turned-attorney Alicia Florrick in The Good Wife.
