"I've always wanted to do a road movie," McAdams said when asked about her character in the film, which tells the story of three veterans taking an unexpected journey after returning home for the war in Iraq.

After hitting the red carpet for the premiere of Easy Virtue at the The Visa Screening Room, Biel swapped her snow white Giambattista Valli frock for a little black dress before dashing off the toast the film at hip spot Kultura. "That's the hardest part about coming to a festival with a film," the actress said of the frantic pace. "You never get to see any of the other movies!"

After a quick trip to New York Fashion week, Emma Roberts hit the Toronto circuit for the premiere of Lymelife, held at the Ryerson Theatre.

"It was such an honor to actually be given this role," the British beauty told reporters at a press conference for the flick. "There are relatively few leading roles for women, so to actually have one land on your doorstep was fantastic."

Rachel Weisz went wild when she hit the red carpet at the premiere of The Wrestler-the first of her two Toronto offerings-at The Visa Screening Room. Weisz later mingled with Gerard Butler, Josh Brolin and Mickey Rourke at the after-party, held at the ultra-exclusive Park Hyatt Hotel.

Anne Hathaway

The fans were out in full force to catch a glimpse of Anne Hathaway at the premiere of Rachel Getting Married. And the actress didn't disappoint-exiting her SUV and making a beeline to sign autographs. The flashbulbs exploded as Hathaway showed off her ballerina-inspired black Jean Louis Sherrer from Rare Vintage NYC. "There's no ritual in getting ready, I just work with this great stylist, Rachel Zoe," she said of her signature style.

Renee Zellweger

After engaging in a debate about her taste for tacos at a press conference, Renee Zellweger showed off another signature Carolina Herrera frock at the premiere of Appaloosa, held at the Elgin Theatre. Once she'd walked the red carpet with co-stars Viggo Mortensen and Ed Harris, Zellweger headed straight to the airport to make her way home for a family gathering.

Kate Hudson

After helping hairstylist David Babaii introduce his new line of hair care products to Canadian beauty editors, lady in red Kate Hudson joined Petra Nemcova MUZIK for Sir Richard Branson's bash for the Virgin Unite Foundation.

Brad Pitt

Though co-star George Clooney was a no show, Brad Pitt was more than enough leading man for the fans who lined the block for a glimpse of the red carpet at the Toronto premiere of Burn After Reading, held at Roy Thomson Hall. Pitt was also the center of attention at the film's after-party, where a team of bodyguards was required to escort him to the men's room.

"If you fall asleep during this movie, I will head-butt you," cracked Jeremy Piven, who joined co-star Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges at the North American premiere of RocknRolla, held at the Elgin Theatre.

Jennifer Hudson wowed the crowd in Lanvin at the premiere of The Secret Life Of Bees, held at Roy Thomson Hall. "We had so much fun on the set," Hudson said of the all-women cast, that also includes Dakota Fanning, Queen Latifah and Alicia Keys.

Queen Latifah

Also at the premiere of The Secret Life of Bees, Queen Latifah showed off her svelte figure in a body-hugging one-shoulder sheath. After the festival, the multi-talented artist said she will head home to put the finishing touches on her new album.

Sophia Bush

Though she doesn't have a film at the festival, Sophia Bush provided some star power at the E-Talk Party. Bush also stopped by Canadian retail mecca Holt Renfrew for the Converse party, where she crossed paths with Jeremy Piven.

Zac Efron and Claire Danes

Zac Efron and Claire Danes (in Lanvin) hyped their flick Me and Orson Welles at the Ryerson Theatre. Danes' real life leading man, Hugh Dancy, flew North to support the star at the Canadian debut.
