The Beauty Looks You Need to See from PFW's Spring 2018 Runways

THE LOOK: Spider lashes made a triumphant return and half-up half-down hair was pinned back with delicate Dior-emblazoned rainbow clips. Dior Makeup's Creative & Image Director Peter Philips primed the models' lashes with a coat of Diorshow 3D Maximizer ($30; dior.com) and followed up with five or six coats of Diorshow's Pump'n'Volume Mascara ($30; dior.com) to get the clumpy babydoll finish. He accessorized the lashes by lining the waterline with Diorshow Kohl Black Kohl 099 ($33; dior.com).  

THE LOOK: Some models wore party-ready tousled updos while others embraced their natural hair textures. Dewy skin with a touch of balm on the lips was the universal makeup look. 

THE LOOK: Straw liner that Vimi Joshi, a M.A.C. global senior make up artist created using the brand's Rollerwheel Liquid Liner ($21; macys.com) and ribbon-wrapped low ponytails. 

THE LOOK: Reverse cat eyes and ponytails with baby hairs left free. 

THE LOOK: Let the uniform bobs with bangs at Guy Laroche confirm that it will still be the cut everyone is getting come spring. 

THE LOOK: Legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath yet again changed the way you're going to wear lipstick. She used her hot pink MatteTrance Lipstick in Full Panic ($38; sephora.com) on both ends of the lip. Dark feathers accented the wavy hairstyles created by Eugene Souleiman. 

THE LOOK: Models were a walking version of the KiraKira Sparkle App. Lead makeup artist Peter Philips placed rhinestones around some models' eyes, and other girls had a stripe of crystals across their lips. While all models had their tied up, some of their side-parts were also bedazzled with rhinestones. 

THE LOOK: No-makeup makeup and air-dried French girl hair. 

THE LOOK: 40 variations on negative space cat eyes. Clé de Peau Beauté Makeup Creative Director Lucia Pieroni gave each model a different graphic eyeliner look using Clé de Peau Beauté's Intensifying Liquid Eyeliner #1 ($55; nordstrom.com). Hair was styled in flipped-up low ponytails. 

THE LOOK: A wash of rose-colored eyeshadow on the lids and side-parted low-buns. 

THE LOOK: Nude lips courtesy of the the designer's collab with L'Oreal Paris ($14 each; barneys.com) and side-swept hair. 

THE LOOK: Groomed brows, a touch of lip balm, and windswept hair. 

THE LOOK: Off-duty Princess Diana-inspired hair and dewy skin. 

THE LOOK: Last night's eye makeup and bedhead. 

THE LOOK: A classic red lip and low ponytail wrapped with a ribbon bow. 

THE LOOK: Smudged black eyeliner along the lower lash line and undone braids adorned with feathers created a dark, romantic runway beauty moment. 

THE LOOK: Sun-kissed skin and picked flowers in air-dried hair. 

THE LOOK: Decadent, draped pink blush and undone waves. 

THE LOOK: Silver eyeshadow haloed around models' eyes and hair left in its natural texture. 

THE LOOK: The Cry-Baby-inspired show had '50s-inspired beauty looks to match. Some models' hair was worn slicked back with curls left out at the front, and others had undone low ponytails with the front layers left out. Negative spaces gave the decade's pin-up cat-flick a modern twist.

THE LOOK: Red lipstick was blotted down to a subtle stain on some models, while others wore it as an opaque matte. Hair was styled in windswept waves. 

THE LOOK: Groomed brows, lip balm, can't lose. 

BEAUTY: Get caught in the rain, but make it fashion. Makeup artist Tom Pecheux paired red eyeshadow with rorange lipstick for an '80s-inspired makeup look, and hairstylist Sam McKnight tied the models' hair up into damp low ponytails. He vacuumed the tails into perspex tubes that matched the models' transparent rain hats. 

THE LOOK: Should you leave your house with wet hair next spring? At McQueen, all signs point to "yes." Along with wet tendrils slick down onto models' faces, they each wore smudgy tightlined eyeliner. 

THE LOOK: Graphic cat eyes and mod low ponytails accessorized with spa headbands.
