After watching a runway show or admiring a new designer collection, we tend to be left with an intense urge to shop. But if you don't have the budget or desire to revamp your whole closet, here's a little secret: each season, some of the top trends revolve around staples, embellishments, or colors we've all seen before. That's definitely the case for fall 2022, based on the Fashion Week runways where many pieces included sequins, bows, and shades of purple — AKA classic details we've been shopping all along. Remember the days when every fashion dilemma could be solved by a solid black mini dress? Well, they're back — right in time for the early 2010s fashion resurgence. We saw a variety of LBDs on the runway this season, whether your preference is dainty fit-and-flares or tight, leather designs. Thankfully, this piece has been part of the ultimate capsule wardrobe for ages, so it's possible you already own one — or five. Even if you were a big fan of the micro purse, chances are you didn't completely ditch the more practical, oversized options in your collection.
