With the world’s brightest fashion stars in attendance, the red carpet gave great glamour and the awards served up some serious moments. Here are our highlights: 01 of 06 Gigi Did a Gwyneth Venturelli/Getty Upon winning International Model of the Year, presented by Donatella Versace, Gigi Hadid took to the stage and delivered the most emotional speech of the night channeling Gwyneth Paltrow circa her Oscars speech. Fighting back the tears Hadid said, "I know I am blessed to be in the generation of social media but I want you guys, the fashion world to know that you are my family." Enter multiple crying eyes emojis! Let's also just take a quick moment to appreciate that Versace again ... it's the perfect trouser/ball gown hybrid known to mankind. 02 of 06 Host Jack Whitehall Brought the LOLZ Mike Marsland/WireImage Hosting a fashion event is a tough gig, even for the greatest of comedians. Let’s face it, us fashion folk can sometimes take ourselves a little too seriously. But Whitehall rose to the occasion delivering some knockout punch lines including, "Now, onto the International Model ... all of whom are destined to go out with a member of One Direction." Queue a ripple of gasps and belly laughs in equal measure. 03 of 06 Alexa’s Party Pants Karwai Tang/WireImage You can always rely on the Chung to bring THE style. Always playing to her quirky, alternative Brit girl vibe the newly turned fashion designer truly outdid herself in her playful party Prada two-piece. At the end of the day, nothing says party more than a feather hem! 04 of 06 Marilyn Manson = Niche! /Dave Benett/Getty The most random guest of the night had to be Marilyn Manson, who proved to be iconic and hilarious in equal measures. Taking to the stage to present Vetements with the award for International Urban Luxury Brand, he happily hammed up his inebriated state with host Jack Whitehall. 05 of 06 Jared Leto Gave Men Style Lessons Stuart C. Wilson/Getty On stage to present Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele, with his award for International Accessories Designer, the Oscar winner joked that he was wearing sequin underwear to match his jazzy bow tie and subsequently was suffering from chaffing. The poor lad! But at least he looked next-level fabulous wearing a Gucci two-tone suit with an elaborate, embroidered overcoat. A textbook example of pushing the boundaries without pushing your look off the cliff. 06 of 06 The Royal Albert Hall Took Center Stage Dave Benett/Getty Walking up the epic red carpet outside of the Fashion Awards’ new venue was like being at the Met Gala except it was cooler and definitely colder. The formidable architecture gave great 'gram too, thankfully.
