Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone may not have walked the red carpet together at the Oscars on Sunday, but they were sitting right next to each other as the show began.

The Mickey and the Bear star made jaws drop as she arrived at the Dolby Theater in an actual wedding dress — a strapless, structured Carolina Herrera gown with a corset-like bodice — while the Oscar winner opted for a black tuxedo. Later, as Brad Pitt gushed over costar DiCaprio during his acceptance speech for his Best Supporting Actor Oscar, cameras caught Camila looking lovingly at her man — and Twitter, obviously, was thrilled.

But though she's clearly all about showing support, Morrone had initially played coy as to whether she would even attend the Academy Awards — even mere hours before the show. “I don’t know. I can’t say yet,” she said with a playful smile when asked what she had planned for her Oscars morning prep while attending the Chanel and Charles Finch pre-Oscar dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday night.

Morrone did say that if she were to attend, she would allot a specific amount of time for glam. “I always give myself two hours because I’m very nitpicky,” she continued. “I’m a perfectionist.”

As for the end of the evening, the actress said she sticks to a certain routine. “I always take my shoes off first,” she said. “I take my shoes off two hours into any event.”

“Today, I wore boots because I knew I would be hanging out for a couple hours,” she continued, showing off the Chanel boots she wore with her black velvet and tulle Chanel dress. “But I like to take my makeup off the second I get home and get into my PJs and my tie-dye onesie and that’s it.”

When it comes to her daily glam, there are two products Morrone is obsessed with. “I have this amazing Chanel dewy highlighter stick,” she said. “I’m not just saying it because it’s Chanel. It’s really the best. I don’t leave my house without it or the Chanel tinted skin product. Even when I go to the gym, I have it on. I can’t live without it.”

Morrone headed inside the dinner with a smile, telling us she was “so excited” to be there. “It’s all been a great experience,” she said of awards season, “and tomorrow being the Oscars ... I just like the glamour of it all, wearing beautiful outfits like this.”

The actress joined Penelope Cruz, Margot Robbie, Margaret Qualley, Tracee Ellis Ross, Demi Moore, and more stars inside of the event, who all showed off Chanel looks.

“I’ve known [the people I work with at Chanel] since '96," Cruz, who rocked a pink iridescent fantasy tweed jacket and skirt, told us. "I’m really happy to be an ambassador for the brand, and seeing all my friends here.” The following evening, Cruz wore a black drop-waist Chanel gown to featuring a pearl belt as she presented the award for International Feature Film.

Margot Robbie also hit the red carpet in a vintage Chanel haute couture gown from 1994, but the brand's most-talked-about look was worn by Billie Eilish. The 18-year-old hit the carpet in a baggy tweed suit, lace fingerless gloves, and her signature slime green hair. Not a bad weekend for Chanel.
