Sesali started her editorial career as a freelance writer for Oxygen Media and Flavorpill Media. She was the Senior Entertainment Writer for Refinery29 for two years and the Senior Entertainment Editor for Nylon. Her experience also includes being the Senior Writer for Netflix, in which she created content (social media, talent concepts, and scripts, etc) for @most, the home of Netflix's LGBTQ storytelling. Her copywriting clients include Well Told Health, Goldman Sachs, Snow Days, A Dozen Cousins, Utendahl Creative, and more.


Sesali earned her Bachelor of Arts at DuPaul University and Master of Arts in Women's Studies at Georgia State University.
