Ellin Stein Title: Contributing Writer Education: Wellesley College Location: London, England Expertise: Arts, Film, Luxury Lifestyle, Travel Ellin Stein is a London-based script editor/writer and journalist who covers all things arts, film, luxury lifestyle, and travel.She was also an InStyle Correspondent for two years during which she reported UK and European culture, fashion, and lifestyle stories.Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Telegraph, The Times, The Guardian, People (Reporter, London bureau), InStyle (London Correspondent), Variety, Salon, Yahoo Travel, Fodor's Guides (co-author London and England guides), and San Francisco Chronicle (theater critic). Experience Ellin started her editorial career as the European Correspondent for InStyle. Since then, she has written for several publications including The New York Times, The New York Times Book Review, The Times (of London), The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Independent, Variety, The Nation, Salon, and the Village Voice.She has also worked in script development for companies including Miramax, Zoetrope, and New Line, and currently teaches screenwriting in the MA Script Writing program at Goldsmiths College, University of London.Her short films have been shown at festivals in Canada, the US, Japan, Portugal, Nicaragua, Holland, and more, and she began her career co-writing five non-traditional musicals that were produced in New York and San Francisco. More recently (2013), she made a radio documentary for the BBC on musical satirist Tom Lehrer, his first interview in decades. Education Ellin received her Bachelor's Degree in English from Wellesley College.
