Doree Shafrir is a writer and podcaster. She is the author of the novel Startup and the memoir Thanks for Waiting: The Joy (& Weirdness) of Being a Late Bloomer. Doree is the co-host of the fashion and beauty podcast Forever35 and Matt & Doree’s Eggcellent Adventure, a podcast surrounding infertility and chronicling the IVF process. She is also the creator of Now We’re Talking, a newsletter on women's issues and parenting.


Doree received a BA and MA in History from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Arts and Culture Journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
