Summer may traditionally be the most popular season to walk down the aisle, but, in our opinion, fall probably deserves that title more. For starters, with the weather getting cooler and crispier in most parts of the country, it makes outside celebrations a lot more pleasant. But our number one reason to love fall weddings would be the breathtaking transformation of nature taking place this time of the year—it's a true color explosion and not taking advantage of it would be crazy.
But don't take our word for it. We asked the pros at the Wedding Artists Collective, a curated group of wedding photographers and videographers from around the world, to share with us what makes fall the best season to get hitched. Keep scrolling down and get ready to be seriously inspired by some beautiful autumnal landscapes.

4. The devil's in the details.
"Autumn is the time of year when the light becomes uniquely golden, the landscape is more textured, rich, and colorful, and the dresses are so much more interesting and detailed!" — Eager Hearts Photography of The Wedding Artists Collective
5. Countless shades of fall.
"I just love the fall color palettes for the florals and décor." — Shannen Natasha of The Wedding Artists Collective
6. Perfect for a barn celebration.

8. The most beautiful sunsets.
"The one thing I like about fall weddings is that the days are much cooler, which is far more enjoyable for everyone involved; and better sunset pictures as they happen earlier in the evening." — Samm Blake of The Wedding Artists Collective
9. The Wow factor.
"There's generally an overcast sky which makes for really great soft portraiture almost all day and the leaves changing colors make for an environmental wow factor that you can't get but those few weeks every year when the weather starts to change." — Shannen Natasha of The Wedding Artists Collective.
