We are about halfway through National Ice Cream month, and the sugar high is real. In an effort to track down some healthier options that still pay homage to our favorite smooth and creamy dessert, we tapped our friends at Yonanas to give us a super quick version of their Perfectly Peach banana-based "ice cream" that you can make if you don't have a Yonanas blender.
The texture won't be quite the same if you use a traditional blender, as their patented blade technology makes for that extra creamy soft-serve, but we're still counting this dessert as part of July's creamy confection celebrations. Check out the recipe below.
2 ripe bananas, cut up and frozen
1 ripe peach, cut into chunks and frozen
Splash of milk (coconut, flax, or other)
How to Make It
1. Combine ingredients in a food processor or blender and pulse until texture is creamy.
