The 16th annual InStyle Oscar Viewing Party went off with a bang last night at Fig & Olive in West Hollywood, where the stars gathered to watch the Academy Awards ceremony in our chic and cozy viewing room.
Scott Eastwood showed up in a dapper Armani tuxedo, which he selected because it coordinated with his famous father Clint's ensemble. "I wanted to match my dad," he told InStyle. "We're wearing the same suit. Midnight blue. We didn’t get ready together, but we're going to hit a few more parties after this and then see where the night takes us."
But Eastwood wasn't the only celeb packed into the hotspot—aside from Michelle Trachtenberg, Taryn Manning, Adrianne Palicki, and Becca Tobin, the Scandal crew turned out to support cast-mate Kerry Washington, who presented during the ceremony.
"Kerry just hit the carpet! She looks incredible," Katie Lowes exclaimed as Washington appeared on the screen. "She’s a unicorn and rainbow and the most magical person. She’s one of my best friends, and she’s one of the most lovely human beings to ever grace the planet." Her co-star Tony Goldwyn seconded the notion: "I’m sitting with the Scandal cast, who are the best and most fun people to hang out with in the world," he shared. "We're actually a cast that loves to be together, so it's always fun to go to parties together."
Aside from a sprawling array of delicious bites, guests were treated to a candy and popcorn bar, had access to endless flow of bubbling champagne, and sipped on Fiji Water, who were one of the night's sponsors. "InStyle has all the party secrets. It’s all about location, location, location, really good people and champagne," Darby Stanchfield said. "It’s a very celebratory night and I love nothing more than drinking champagne in a short dress." We'll cheers to that!
