You Have to See This! The Reader Who Made a Dress Entirely Out of InStyle Magazine Pages
Hannah Golden doesn’t just read InStyle—she wears it, too! The 18-year-old from Pauls Valley, Oklahoma made an entire dress using only InStyle pages for her town's sustainable-only fashion show competition, and her innovative design won first place. “I have been reading InStyle since 2010, and whenever I get a new issue, it's the highlight of my month," Golden told us over the phone. "Now that I’m going off to college in the fall, I had to get rid of my shelf of magazines, so I thought I’d recycle them and make them into something really cool.” And her win is a good sign for her future—this fall, the aspiring fashion designer plans to attend the School of Fashion Design in Boston. With this kind of creativity, she's off to a great start! Click to get a closer look.
