The show will be broadcast on NBC. It'll be live on both costs simultaneously, starting at 8 p.m. EST and 5 p.m. PST.
Who is hosting?
On April 17, NBC announced that Kelly Clarkson will be this year's host.
“To prepare for hosting the Billboard Music Awards, I already have 20 costume changes planned,” Clarkson said in a press release announcing the gig. “I will be flying in like my girl P!nk, and calling Amy Schumer and Sarah Silverman for jokes. Well, or I’m just gonna show up and celebrate my favorite artists and get to know a few more. Yeah, maybe I’ll go with that plan.”
Who is nominated?
Leading the pack with the most nominations are Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, and Bruno Mars. As for the ladies, Taylor Swift topped the list with a total of four nods for her album Reputation.
One of the toughest categories is Top New Artist. Khalid, Camila Cabello, 21 Savage, Kodak Black, and of course Cardi B, are all up for the award.

How did they choose the nominees?
According to Billboard, nominations are based on statistics like radio airplay, streaming, touring, social media engagement, and album and song sales from the past 12 months. This year’s eligibility period was from April 8, 2017 through March 31, 2018.
Who is performing?
Billboard revealed the first round of performers includes Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, and Dua Lipa.
