What to Wear to a Baseball Game Under the Hot Sun
The long days and warm nights of summer call for activities tinged with nostalgia, like an all-American baseball game. If you're headed to one, skip the date-night ensembles: It's all about laid-back basics meant for enjoying the game. We recommend an ensemble that's lightweight and appropriately sporty.
If you wind up with seats in the sunny section, expect it to get extremely hot. Go for a tank and shorts in light colors to deflect as much of the heat as possible. Opt for retro shades to safeguard your eyes, but don't forget a sweater in case it gets chilly once the sun goes down. For accessories, flat sandals are your best friend and neon jewelry (like this watch and leather bracelets) is perfect for this low-key look. Finally, ditch your purse in favor of a canvas backpack—it'll be easy to carry, keep track of, and clean (just in case you spill soda or beer on it).
