The common ground between Zoe Saldana and Ryan Reynolds may seem obvious. They both care deeply about social issues, have sizzling acting careers, and even delivered a speech together on the importance of women at the 2013 Chime for Change concert. Now, the two stars have one more thing to share: both are the newest celebrity faces for L'Oreal Paris! The brand just announced that Saldana would be coming on board as its latest celebrity spokesperson (Reynolds was anointed just a few months ago), joining an elite group including Blake Lively, Freida Pinto and Julianne Moore. "Growing up, I was taught to believe that I am capable to do anything a man can do. This family philosophy has shaped who I am today, and is a conviction that will always accompany me through life," Saldana says in a statement. "As a L'Oreal Paris Spokesperson, being able to say 'We're worth it' means so much to me. I want to share that value with women so that they embrace it and execute life with confidence." No word yet on which product line she'll front, but we're certainly looking forward to seeing the star in the upcoming print and television campaigns set to roll out later this year.
