When we heard Adam Levine was launching his own fragrances for men and women, we were surprised -- after all, didn't he previously encourage a ban on celebrity perfumes? However, we were sold once we tried out the sexy rose, sandalwood, and jasmine blend of his women's version. In his just-released campaign video, he makes his case. "I typically hate celebrity fragrances. It's not that I hate celebrities, or that I hate fragrances," he said. "It's that, when I see them, I don't necessarily believe that the people promoting them were particularly connected to what they were making, and I want to be involved every step of the way." Levine's involvement is evident in the sleek, minimalistic packaging alone, and although we can't speak on his signature scent, we're sure the sexy amber, lemongrass, and cedarwood blend of his men's scent smells just fine on him. Check out what he had to say in the video above. The scent is available for $65 at macys.com.
