Holy Mowgli! Disney teased the first full-length trailer for its live-action take on The Jungle Book during last night's Super Bowl, and it had us biting our nails and tapping our feet all at the same time. The trailer gave viewers their first extended look at Jon Favreau's stunning adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's classic tale, complete with special 3D effects that made the animals look as though they were jumping the television screen.
The full version of the trailer for The Jungle Book (below) is full of harrowing encounters between Mowgli (Neel Sethi) and the story's antagonist, tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba), as well as little Mowgli's dealings with a star-studded cast of CGI jungle animals voiced by Bill Murray (Baloo), Scarlett Johansson (Kaa), Ben Kinglsey (Bagheera), and Lupita Nyong'o (Raksha)—all set to a haunting reimagining of the 1967 cartoon version's song, "Bear Necessities."

The Jungle Book opens in 3D and IMAX on April 15.
