It looks like actress Olivia Wilde has a second calling. The Vinyl star made her directorial debut with Red Hot Chili Peppers' new music video for "Dark Necessities," which first dropped on the band's Facebook page Thursday.
In the video, the mostly shirtless band rocks out and goofs off in a wallpapered room and around a home (including guitar playing in a sink) as longboarders skate around everywhere from a grocery store to an abandoned street.
Ahead of the music video's release, Wilde posted several shots from it, including a behind-the-scenes snap that showed the mom-to-be rocking her baby bump under a yellow "Northside K-C" T-shirt as she stands next to the band's frontman Anthony Kiedis. "A preggo and a rock star. #darknecessities #directorheaven," the Red Hot Chili Peppers captioned the shot on their page.
In another snap, Wilde captured a photo on set behind a video camera that shows a shirtless Kiedis throwing up his arms as he performs with the rest of the band. "Today is a big day, #rhcp," she wrote alongside it Thursday, referencing the video's premiere. It certainly was. Congratulations, Olivia!
