"I will read. I will study. I will learn. If you try to stop me, I will just try harder," Anne Hathaway says in the inspiring new trailer for the Richard Robbins-directed documentary Girl Rising, an exploration of how a proper education can change the lives of girls growing up in underprivileged communities around the globe—and consequently change the world. (It's not the first time the Les Miserables star has taken on a girl-power cause!) The film takes viewers into the lives of girls from Africa to India, and illustrates how simply trying to go to school is sometimes a significant challenge. Hathaway, Salma Hayek, Alicia Keys, Kerry Washington, Meryl Streep, Selena Gomez, and Cate Blanchett are just a sampling of the stars who lent their voices to the film, in addition to a haunting cover of Bon Iver's "Skinny Love" by up-and-coming British singer Birdy, which also appears in the trailer.
