Say hello to the new Vanessa Hudgens!
The newly-minted 27-year-old is brushing off her in-your-face Spring Breakers persona and is instead turning into a clean, green, healthy lifestyle machine. Following in the footsteps of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop and Blake Lively’s now-defunct Preserve, Hudgens has officially launched Astral & Opal, a site dedicated to learning to live a more adventurous life and feel empowered while doing so.
“I love surfing the web but nothing ever stuck with me. So, I thought it was time to create the site I needed in my life,” the former Disney star wrote in her introductory letter as Editor-in-Chief. “As for me, I believe that life is as you make it. I want to feel good, look good, and live a colorful life full of adventure. You are in the driver’s seat, on an open road and only get one lifetime to make it count. We gotta live it to the fullest!”
To match her positive message, the site currently tackles a roster of subject matters that help bring clarity to a busy form of living. Thanks to Hudgens, we can all now learn how to “practice mindfulness,” find “deliciously natural smoothies,” and download “trippy tunes” that’ll become playlist favorites.
When Hudgens is not focusing on this new venture, you can find her preparing for her role as Rizzo in next January’s television production of Grease: Live.
