Lupita Nyong’o may have an Oscar under her belt, but she’s just as star-struck by 22-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams as the rest of us. The actress attended the 2016 U.S. Open Tuesday night and watched the world's No. 1 female player dominate her way to a straight-set victory.

Nyong’o stunned in the stands while wearing a navy and white printed head wrap and matching crop top. She paired the look with black high-waist pants and chunky silver sandals and slipped on a pair of round glasses and a jean jacket to watch the night match in Arthur Ashe stadium. Williams made quick work of her formidable opponent Ekaterina Makarova, winning the match 6 – 3, 6 – 3.

The actress was clearly impressed by the tennis star's quick victory and shared a snapshot of the champion on the court. “Simply The Best, live. Crossed another off the bucket list,” she wrote alongside the fierce photo.
