You’ll see something a little familiar in Tracy Reese’s new collection for her Made in Kind collaboration at Anthropologie—a dress inspired by the look she custom created for Michelle Obama’s first speech at the Democratic National Convention in September. “This is actually the same dress Mrs. Obama wore to the Democratic National Convention, in a new different version," Reese told InStyle.com at a party celebrating the new lineup in New York City this week. “She wore the sleeveless version in a different fabric," Reese added. "I wanted to make it as rich as possible, so we printed it on this wonderful silk and linen jacquard so it just gives some texture to it, and topped it off with something abstract printed on lace.” The Floral Combo dress will land in stores and anthropologie.com for $298 starting Tuesday, October 9th.
