For more than a decade, Tracy Anderson has sculpted bodies all over the world into shape using her signature method, a combination of muscle work and dance cardio, and now the fitness expert has added a new class to her lineup of routines. The best part? It’s inspired by one of her regular clients, Jennifer Lopez.

TAva (a name conceived from her initials + va, meaning “go” in Spanish) is similar to her heart-pumping choreographed dance routines that fitness enthusiasts have become obsessed with through the years, but with a twist. The new workout fuses streamlined choreography with low-impact design, which means the jumping and bouncing elements of her traditional dance classes are removed—making it perfect for someone who is looking to avoid higher-impact workouts.

How did Anderson come up with the concept? She co-developed the workout with choreographer Tony Gonzalez and adding a J.Lo-inspired Latin flair with addictive dance music.

"I've been working with Tracy Anderson for many years, and the results that her Method achieves for my body are amazing. I feel connected, proportioned, supported, and strong," Lopez says. "She is constantly creating to make sure I have the tools I need to show up for my body."

But the latest addition to her class portfolio is just one of the many things Anderson has in the works (she really is taking over the fitness world, and we couldn’t be more thrilled about it). She just launched a line of Clear organic protein bars and shake mixes exclusively with Target (take it from us, the Vanilla Toffee Crunch bars are outta this world) and her latest TAva workout is available on DVD starting today in Target stores nationwide. We can’t wait to see what Anderson does next.
