With the hundreds of gowns that graced the Cannes Film Festival red carpet this year, which ones looked best? Who better to ask than celebrity celebrity stylist Elizabeth Stewart. "There are so many [I loved]!" she told InStyle.com at the P.S. ARTS Bag Lunch in Holmby Hills, California yesterday, an event she co-hosted to raise funds for the non-profit children's arts education organization P.S. Arts. But when forced to narrow it down, she chose Freida Pinto's coral Gucci gown and Jessica Chastain's beaded violet Givenchy design. While Stewart put the stars in these two looks as their stylist, that's not the only reason they rose to the top of her list. Here's why:
"It was just so her," Stewart explained. "This incredible bright coral with this cool belt and it was just a very Frieda moment.”
"The purple on Jessica was just so hard to pull off and she pulled it off so beautifully and it’s just this incredible, one of a kind, custom-made dress," said Stewart. "She just looked perfect in it."
