Tasked to come up with a list of mega-name designers with adaptive apparel created specifically for differently abled adults, and you may just come up short. However, starting tomorrow, you can add Tommy Hilfiger to that list.
Following the success of their first adaptive line for children back in spring 2016, the iconically all-American fashion brand has just announced its launch of a sportswear line thoughtfully designed with the end consumer in mind and based off of pieces from the Tommy Hilfiger collections. What you’ll find with this collection are adjusted seams and openings for easy dressing—both for individuals and caretakers—You’ll also find magnetic and Velcro brand closures, magnetic flies on pants, and adjusted leg openings to accommodate leg braces and orthotics.
