Since designer Gabriela Hearst debuted her namesake fall 2015 collection, editors make a point to clear their schedules and stop by the 2016 International Woolmark Prize nominee's presentation amidst their New York Fashion Week circuit each season. So it's fitting, then, that the creative's latest project with Tod's has garnered quite the buzz.
Together, Hearst and the Italian brand have designed a stylish menswear-inspired brogue slip-on that also gives back to those in need. Dubbed the "Love" shoe, the accessory, which comes in five calf skin and textured leather iterations, spells out "L-O-V-E" in Morse Code above its woven rope and rubber facade. Twenty percent of the proceeds from each sale will benefit Save the Children, a favorite organization of stars like Olivia Wilde, Jennifer Garner, and Dakota Fanning that helps underserved children across the globe.
