Katie Holmes may not be a college graduate, but she is a Notre Dame alum—Notre Dame Academy, that is. The 37-year-old actress graduated from the all-girls high school in Ohio before giving Hollywood a shot, and she watched from the stands as the university that shares her alma mater’s name won this weekend’s March Madness game.
Holmes took her daughter, Suri Cruise, to Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Sunday to watch the Notre Dame Fighting Irish take on the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. All eyes were on the game as the sixth seeded team took down the number 14 seed by just one point (the final score: 76-75), but we couldn’t peel our attention away from Holmes and Tom Cruise’s adorable daughter.
Wearing a pink puffy coat and a bunny-printed tee, the 9-year-old was focused on the action on the court. From her dark hair to her bone structure and almond-shaped eyes, she couldn’t look more like her famous mom.
Suri might have inherited her love of basketball from her dad, but she definitely got her mom’s striking features.
