Bring on the "Uptown Funk"! For both football and music fans alike, we have some good news: Bruno Mars has just confirmed he's joining the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
Although the singer has long been rumored to be part of the biggest football game of the year, it was only yesterday that Mars finally confirmed he would perform—and naturally, he made the announcement via Instagram.
Posting a selfie at the Super Bowl 50 stadium, Mars wrote: "It ain't a party if Mr $how Up & $how out doesn't show up. #Confirmed #SB50 #Halftime #Coldplay #Beyonce #TheBrunz #Shwaaaggg"
Though he'll be in heavy-hitting company on the Super Bowl 50 stage—Beyonce and Coldplay are both set to sing their hearts out—Mars is no novice. He previously shook things up for the 2014 Super Bowl in East Rutherford, NJ. Though of course the real competition will be on the gridiron with the Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos facing off, we can't wait to see how the halftime show shakes down!
