While Super Bowl XLVII is still underway in the Superdome, "Girl on Fire" Alicia Keys helped open the game with her own patriotic pride. She performed a soulful rendition of the National Anthem seated at a gray piano to provide her own accompaniment. The star wore a full-length red Azzedine Alaïa dress while she sang "The Star-Spangled Banner," choosing gold Marina B jewelry and black platform heels as her accessories. She performed the iconic song in a way only she could: at a slow tempo with plenty of New Orleans jazz-inspired sultriness, and enough soul to bring even the toughest football players to tears on the sidelines. Watch her belt out the song live above!
