No one gets us pumped for #FitnessFriday quite like Daisy Ridley. The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress has been keeping us motivated with her Instagram workout videos ever since she first joined the social media platform a few months back, showing off fresh moves in each and every post. And it's a conscious effort on Ridley's part to avoid repeating the same exercise routine, she told InStyle at last week’s Star Wars “Force4Fashion” event in New York City. “It changes every time I’m in the gym,” Ridley said. “That’s why I keep doing the videos—because it’s always something different.”
When it comes to planning her ever-changing routines, the 23-year-old has some help. “My trainer is incredible, and I think that’s why I still enjoy it,” she said. But having so many great workout moves at her disposal makes it challenging to choose just one short snippet to share with her followers each week. “Sometimes I’m like, ‘Oh, this workout was great,’ so to pick a tiny part of it is hard,” said Ridley.
#FRIDAYFITNESS These are three exercises from a couple circuits I did today! PLEASE REMEMBER everyone I have an incredible trainer who has helped me get into shape and who designs and supervises my workouts. If you're just getting into training or getting back into it, be careful, get some advice, and never do weights stuff without supervision if you haven't done weights before!
I don't know if #fitnessfriday is a thing(?!) but HERE'S MINE! Lifting 80 kilos/176 pounds feeling like an absolute boss. 😏😏😏 Initially I had to pack on some muscle to look like a desert scavenger, but have continued working out because it makes me feel really good. The female form is beautiful in all shapes and sizes, whether that's athletic, straight up straight down or curvy; you just have to do what makes you feel good, try not compare yourself to other people and LOVE YOURSELF!!! As it stands I'm of the athletic variety so I'm gonna keep pumping those weights 😄😄😄 #girlswholift
