You say tomato, we say don’t get too caught up in choosing the It red for this spring’s haute lip: There isn’t one. Burberry showed a brown-based version, Zac Posen skewed orange, and at Carolina Herrera, five different reds—some even close to pink—were used. What do the new pouts have in common? A precise shape (time to dust off that lip liner) and a slightly matte finish.
