Some may say summer has officially come to an end, but Solange Knowles managed to crank up the mercury on Wednesday night in New York.

The 30-year-old singer turned to Prabal Gurung for a nearly head-to-toe red ensemble at the House of Peroni opening New York Fashion Week celebration. In addition to her bold, look-at-me color, Knowles killed it thanks to the high-collar, long-sleeve chiffon silk blouse and the matching, button-adorned trousers. She paired the pieces with pointed-toe flats, perfect for dancing.

In fact, Solange was feeling her look so much she did just that. The beauty and mother-of-one took to Instagram to share a funny video of herself shimmying to Mariah Carey’s songs at the event.

“Mood: The woman in the black shirt who had no time for me singing Mariah Carey songs into a fan at the pahhhty,” she hilariously wrote as the caption to the above video of herself.

She also took to the social media platform to share images of her full ensemble.
