The nominations for the 87th Academy Awards were announced on Thursday and two of this year's biggest contenders, American Sniper and Foxcatcher, both star Sienna Miller. When the actress visited The Daily Show on Thursday, she called the news "very exciting," and was particularly thrilled for her nominated co-stars Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, and Mark Ruffalo, respectively. (Miller also spilled the adorable secret that Ruffalo is "a big hugger.")
Miller, who wore a lovely striped ensemble for her visit, called working on American Sniper "an amazing experience," and despite some ongoing controversy surrounding the film, she said she tried to be nothing but "truthful to the moment" for her performance as the real-life character Taya Kyle.
Watch Sienna Miller's entire chat with host Jon Stewart below, in which they also discuss her rehearsals for Cabaret on Broadway and her upcoming untitled project (also starring Bradley Cooper).
