Who exactly are the ladies who lunch?
Apparently, the batch consists of stars like Sienna Miller and Katie Holmes, who, along with an epic A-list set, gathered inside Tribeca’s Locanda Verde restaurant for lunch on Tuesday in New York in celebration of Through Her Lens: The Tribeca Chanel Women’s Filmmaker Program.
As its name implies, the program seeks to uplift female directors, writers, and leading women in the industry, which is why we were quite impressed to see a solid turnout, especially with Miller's appearance.
The High-Rise star exuded downtown-cool in a Chanel look that consisted of a red tweed jacket, plain white tee, black leather shorts, matching tights, and sporty black open-toe booties. Her beauty look consisted of a wavy 'do and a natural-looking glow.
In addition to Miller, Holmes also wowed in an elegant, '50s-inspired outfit. She paired a classic navy blue sweater with an A-line skirt and minimal accessories that packed a punch.
They were also joined by Emily Mortimer (above, right), as well as Girls’ Zosia Mamet and Rashida Jones (below). “I think that this year has really been all about women, and I’m honored to be in the company of these people who are trailblazing their way in an industry that’s notoriously misogynistic to women and imbalanced,” Miller told WWD.
