The Descendants star Shailene Woodley is a staple on the red carpet circuit this season, especially after her Golden Globes nod for Best Supporting Actress. And she’s learned quite a few things about posing, thanks to her stylist. “She says when you cross your legs, it looks like you're trying really hard,” the 20-year-old told InStyle.com when we caught up with her over Golden Globes weekend. “But it's comfortable because then I feel like I'm not going to fall. I cross my legs!” However, don’t call it her signature look. “I don't have a stance,” she said. “I wing it every time. I never practice. I'm always the person who asks my publicist right before I do the carpet, ‘Oh shoot, how should I stand?’” So far, so good, Shailene!
