She may like to be comfortable on the red carpet, but that doesn't mean you'll catch Shailene Woodley looking anything less than glam -- which she proved once again last night. "It's a little beaded action," she told InStyle.com at the L.A. premiere of Divergent of her demure Elie Saab couture gown. "I chose it because I still feel like there's like a little goddess aspect. I'm like, 'Okay, I can be like a hippie goddess,' and it's got the fashion aspect but also feels like strong and divergent-y because it's like 30 pounds with all the beading!"

"It feels divergent-y because it’s like 30 pounds with all the beading!” @shailenewoodley on her @ElieSaabWorld gown.
Woodley, who plays Tris Prior in the highly anticipated action-adventure film (set in a world where people are divided into distinct factions based on human virtues), says that when it comes to relating to her character, it actually comes quite naturally. "I feel like we're all divergent. I feel divergent because I wake up every morning, and I get to do me. Like you do you, I do me. And I think that's divergent in itself, to own yourself and love yourself."
Divergent opens in theaters on March 21.
