The "It Ain't Me" singer was spotted leaving a tattoo parlor in Hollywood after getting matching tats with two of the stars of her new Netflix project, 13 Reasons Why, rocking a cropped yellow T-shirt. The tee, which was emblazoned with the world "Dolton" on the front and the number 9 on the back, showed off a sliver of the 24-year-old's toned abs. Gomez teamed the sunny shirt with high-waist black skinny jeans tucked into a pair of shiny, black ankle boots, oversize sunnies, and a structured black bag, and opted to wear her shoulder-length locks down and straight for the low-key outing.
Gomez and actors Alisha Boe and Tommy Dorfman all got tiny semicolons tattoos on their wrists. Semicolons symbolize suicide prevention and mental health awareness, making it an appropriate choice for the trio that worked on the series about a group of high school classmates dealing with the shocking suicide of fellow student Hannah Baker.
Gomez, who co-produced 13 Reasons Why, has that that her own difficult time made the process that much more meaningful. "I actually was going through a really difficult time when they started production," Gomez told a Netflix panel in February. "I went away for 90 days, and I actually met tons of kids in this place that we're talking about a lot of the issues that these characters are experiencing."
