This morning on the Today show, InStyle.com contributing editor Katherine Schwarzenegger demonstrated how to make some fabulous foods for your upcoming holiday parties, including the festive holiday mocktail, pictured above (full recipe below). "It smells amazing," she tells Today's Savannah Guthrie, and "you can add alcohol to that if you're over 21," she adds. It's times like this we wish we had drink-a-vision!

Apple-Cinnamon Cider

Ingredients:4-5 cups apple juice1/2 teaspoon cinnamon1/4 teaspoon nutmegGarnish: cinnamon sticks and apple slices

Directions:1. In a small pot heat the apple juice and spices over low/medium heat. Stir often while the mixture is heating so the spices will blend into the juice.2. Once it's hot, pour into mugs and garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks.
