Time magazine has released its annual list of the 100 Most Influential Poeple, and this year's group of entertainers, entrepreneurs, politicians, and the like may just be the best yet. Everyone from Kanye West, Reese Witherspoon, and Amy Schumer to Hillary Clinton and the Serial podcast's Sarah Koenig made the cut.
Each year, Time has other influencers profile the 100. For 2015, Martha Stewart waxed poetic about Kim Kardashian, and said that in addition to expanding "the very definition of family" through her show, Kardashian likely won't be going anywhere anytime soon. "There seem to be very few barriers to further explosive success," Stewart notes.
Mariska Hargitay gushed about Swift and how she "seems tuned in to the greater good, and she embraces—thoughtfully and authentically—the chance to contribute to the world."
Emma Watson, declared a pioneer by the magazine due to her work with the HeForShe campaign, received accolades from former New York Times editor Jill Abramson who called the actress's approach to feminism "refreshing." We'd have to agree.
