When someone gets engaged, they naturally want to spread the good news to friends and loved ones alike. And that's exactly what Charlyn Willis, 28, did when her boyfriend Dennis proposed. Only she got the wrong number.

Willis accidentally sent a text sharing a photo of herself and her new ring to none other than actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, who promptly posted it on Facebook for the world to admire.

"This is #CharlynWillis," Gellar wrote. "She got engaged yesterday, and meant to text her sister, but in all the excitement, got me instead. Her sister didn’t respond, but I did. So please help me say congrats, to Charlyn. (And her fiancé whose name I don’t know) #congratulations."

While Gellar's response is pure gold, Willis's response to the attention might be even better.

"Omg! Thank you Sarah!" Willis wrote in a comment on Gellar's Facebook page. "His name is Dennis! Thank you so much for this. You’ve truly made my engagement experience even more of a life changer! Please know when we set a date, I’ll be reaching out to invite you, Freddie, and the kids!"

Looks like Buffy the Vampire Slayer might have unintentionally scored a wedding invite.
