We all love Santa, but, let’s face it, that red suit with white fur borders and wide black belt is looking a little dated. To help him present a more contemporary image, creative agency Joint London gave Jolly Old Saint Nicholas a fashion makeover and dressed a classic Coca-Cola Santa illustration in outfits by some of today's leading designers. The looks both flatter the rotund man (fortunately, Santa already had the hipster beard) and perfectly express the vision of brands.
For his Marni look, Santa wears an oversize red sweater, cropped loose trousers, and a duckbill cap (above, left), while Acne Studios has him in a charcoal gray tailored coat, skinny black cropped pants, and glittery sneakers (above, center). Meanwhile Kenzo (above, right) and Rick Owens (below, left), have put Santa in unseasonal board shorts that would make for a chilly sleigh ride. Other designers include Saint Laurent (below, right), Alexander Wang, Dior's Raf Simons, and more.
