Fact: No matter what he happens to be hosting, Ryan Seacrest always manages to put his best face forward, so it was no surprise to us to hear that he'd be launching his own skincare line with Dr. Harold Lancer—derm to celebs like Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé. Seacrest has been a longtime fan of Dr. Lancer's products, and while the range is currently being developed with a 2016 launch date in mind, we caught up with the dermatologist to find out what we could expect.

"Launching a men's range has always been of interest. Ryan had discussed this over the years, and we've talked about how great it would be to work together," Lancer told InStyle. "Ryan and I want this range to be a straightforward and effective line, and the last thing we want is for men to be confused or intimidated by the products." Although many guys feel exempt or overwhelmed by sticking to an actual skincare regimen, Lancer believes there's more to caring for your complexion than just after-shave, and recommends that men take steps toward preventive anti-aging.

No word yet on if a self-tanner will be included in the product catalog—the duo is literally at work creating the items as we write this—but you can rest assured that the star is very involved in the entire process. "He and I have a plan in place, and will developing the product line side by side," Lancer said. "I'll be formulating the products with the same attention to detail as my others, making sure these are really optimized for the unique needs of men's skin. We text ideas back and forth every day, and speak almost as much!" Keep an eye out for the full range next year, as well as more sneak peeks once an official launch date is announced.
