We can't imagine anyone who could play the role of Deadpool more perfectly than Ryan Reynolds, a fact he proved once again this week.

The actor dressed as the comic book character (whom he plays in a feature film out next year) for Halloween and shared an awesome photo of the himself hanging out with a group of kids dressed as the X-Men. "Remember, tonight we set our clocks back 34 years. #happyhalloween," Reynolds wrote alongside the 'gram.

His wife Blake Lively posted the same snap on her own account, which she captioned: "The beauty of Halloween—You never know who's under the mask. @vancityreynolds killin it in the most elaborate #Deadpool Halloween costume ever. #squadgoals."

But little did we know that there was much more where that came from. Yesterday, Reynolds released a hilarious video called How Deadpool Spent Halloween that takes us behind the scenes of the team photo, and he gets super into character as the often-abrasive Marvel star. In the clip, he proceeds to ask expletive-filled questions to the children (if they've ever taken a human life, what their superpowers are, etc.) before finally getting the rowdy group under control.

Watch the comical How Deadpool Spent Halloween video below, and be sure to catch Deadpool when it hits theaters Feb. 12, 2016.
