It's safe to say that Ryan Lochte knows a thing or two about working out. Not only does the pro swimmer have 11 Olympic medals (five gold, three silver, three bronze, to be exact)—he holds the world record in the 100-, 200-, and 300-meter individual medley. Ahead of the Rio Olympics, we asked for his go-to workout playlist he's using to train for the Games.

But let it be known, if you want to do the backstroke like Lochte, don't listen to music right before hitting the pool. "I feel like it takes me out of my relaxed element and makes it all feel too serious," he recently told InStyle. "Having headphones on puts me in that intense mood that I don't like."
