Designer: Diane von Furstenberg
Location: Spring Studios
What was it like: Diane von Furstenberg is known for creating a mood for each of her runway shows that takes the audience on a journey into her magical world. For fall, the theme was "seduction," and the woman she had in mind when designing the 37 looks in the collection is one who lives her life as a double agent. As DVF explained in the show notes: "By day she commands her world, by night she inspires fantasy..."
Why we love this collection: Kendall Jenner opened the show in a subtly sexy wrap dress with peek-a-boo black lace, which set the tone for the "femme fatale" inspired lineup. The DVF woman is versatile: she looks equally chic in pinstripe power dressing as she does in sequined gowns cut down-to-there. Her wardrobe matches her multitasking lifestyle and complex personality--from alluring and mysterious to sexy and strong.
