For her latest street style look, Rihanna channeled Little Red Riding Hood, in a big, big way.
Somewhere under this massive red coat lies the star, who (ironically) ditched her umbrella for a more sufficient weather-battling option as she stepped out in New York City Tuesday. The "Sledgehammer" songstress's jacket is so huge that it not only covered the majority of her body, but also her entire face as she made her way down a sidewalk in black Hunter rain boots.
As she took keeping a low profile to a whole other level, Rihanna sunk back in her parka, avoiding prying eyes, camera flashes, and any drops of rain, until she momentarily gave a glimpse of her face when she walked up a staircase.
Oversized red coat or not, though, Rihanna's penchant for out-of-the-box fashions is one of the reasons she's a style superstar. And it's clear she has a thing for rocking oversized coats in colder months, at least when she's not serving up her usual red carpet or street style slayage.
Back in October, she made us swoon in an oversized black Vetements parka complete with a fur-line hood as she strolled through N.Y.C.'s JFK airport. Earlier that month, she rocked a larger-than-life pink puffer jacket with pink pumps during Paris Fashion Week.
Who knows ... maybe Rihanna's outsize red coat will spark a trend, too.
